Park Avenue Acupuncture is a private holistic practice operated by Monica Gfrorer, DOM. I prefer treating one patient at a time to provide the best service possible. Serving the Greater Orlando area, the clinic is nestled on Park Avenue North inside Alkemy Skin Care.

Therapies include acupuncture, cupping, moxabustion, auricular and scalp acupuncture, tuina, far infrared heat therapy, facial rejuvenation, food therapy, herbal medicine and homeopathy. Specialties include pain relief, digestive disorders, weight loss, stress relief, facial rejuvenation and managing the side effects of breast cancer treatment.

Decades of Natural Health Care

I have been practicing natural health care personally for over 40 years. In 1970 I began practicing yoga. I have studied with many well-known teachers over the years. In 1981 I completed Yoga Teacher Training at Kripalu Center in Pennsylvania.

Additional trainings include Shenrobics Teacher Training, Quantum Touch and Emei QiGong Level 1 Teacher Training. All of this led me to the path of Chinese Medicine. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and am Nationally Board Certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture.

In addition to the training provided in obtaining my degree of Acupuncture Physician, I have additional training in Treating the Side Effects of Breast Cancer with Acupuncture, Homotoxicology, Auricular Acupuncture taught by world renowned Dr. Huang, Pain Management by Dr. Richard Tan. Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture for the Face and Abdomen and Non-surgical Face Lifts taught by Dr. Hou and Dr. Song.
